C'était presque parfait. Très bonne accueille - déco sympa - service chaleureuse, soigneuse et vite (très rare à Genève!) - du bon vin espagnol, des tapas jolies, bien assaisonnées - égale pour la paella (parfait pour moi, un petit peu trop salé pour mon mari) fruits de mer - et un café gourmade avec 4 petit dessert trop bons: crème catalan, pudin, mousse au chocolat et tiramisu.

I give high ranks even to deco amd service at this burger food truck because they've thought of everything and their design is divine bovine! the beef is all from the Geneva area (Bernex, others), ground by their butcher and made into fresh patties daily. They are perfectly grilled just pink in the middle. The cheese and sauce are fab, lettuce and onions fresh. Their fries are perfectly cooked, slightly crunchy - but a tad too salty for my taste. (But fries aren't easy in a food truck!) C'est une burger service, vraiment à la américaine en camionnette ! Super burger et frites.

This bar/lounge/resto has a cool ambience with good lighting, art, music and space. The menu is impressive and the service friendly. The food is good, but not yet quite the gourmet American it purports: the burgers were slightly overcooked medium (though we weren't asked how we wanted them cooked). The sauce was good, but would be better not mixed up with shredded lettuce with a burger that comes with rocket (Sex and the City). The coleslaw is the tiny chopped, less julienned kind, very good - not as sweet as the American classic. The sesame buns were very good and slightly crusty.

sleek, clean design and efficient service. the wine list has decent variety. the entrecôte, in two servings, was perfectly cooked, and went well with the house sauce - though I would've preferred it on the side, as it was too much for my taste. the fries were better than most. overall, it's a pretty place, decent food, and open ever day - a plus.

The pretty, open space is inviting and the main dishes are ample, served at lunch with a small tomato mozzarella salad starter. The red wine braised beef Parmentier (shepherd's pie) was perfectly cooked, but lacked a bit of seasoning; its pretty accompanying salad of mixed baby greens and flowers was fresh. The chicken (suprême de volaille) with fresh pasta, herbs and spring vegetables were also cooked well, ample and pretty. Desserts looked pretty, but we didn't order any (too full!) note: we went with the Assiette Genevoise, so I've doubled the food bill.

rien. il n'était pas plein (6 tables max sur peut-être 16 l'extérior inclus ) mais s'il n'y aura que 1 serveur, peut-être le service suffira.

Unfortunately, the fries and onion rings were undercooked. The best onion rings dont have thick batter and are large sweet yellow or Vidalia onions. These are more like fritters. I'd try again though!

Lunchtime service, especially drink service before taking the order and time between courses: the wait killed it. A bit pricey for what it is, but generous portions.

Nice and calm for a Sunday lunch. The service was also calm and unhurried as others have reported (maybe because there were few people). The food was fresh and good - but just good. We had a simple lunch: one Sichuan duck with noodles and one roast Cantonese duck plate with white rice. The whole duck, crab salad and shumai served at the next table looked great.
The Sichuan was disappointingly unspicy! The Cantonese duck a bit dry.

Cozy cafe with eclectic deco and excellent service. The large choice of crepes makes everyone happy. Brunch available, but the salé et sucré crepe menu remains the best choice.

Despite its lackluster rue de Lausanne location, this resto is a gem among the hotel-hosted options. The fish (I can't remember which one) was perfect: flaky light and flavorful. The courge purée was a perfect side - and all the prettier in it's cast-iron dish. Dessert was amazing: a chocolate and fig tarte. I went with the Assiette Genevoise and can't really remember the bill amount but think it was a great value.

I always find the food fresh, delicious, ample and appealing. Today's plat du jour of cod spinach roulades, fennel mousse and red quinoa was perfect. The steak au beurre maison, fresh grilled and vegetables and rosti were also very nice. Service is not necessarily friendly, but wonderfully efficient - even at the busy lunch hour. I also find it one of Geneva's most beautiful old cafes.
Desserts are prettier than they taste, in general, but not bad. The warm tarte tatin is really good.

Nice presentation; quick, friendly and Attentive service (so rare in Geneva!); very good food. We had perfectly fresh and generous green salads, steak perfectly rare a la plancha - one with shoestring fries, one over a bed of rocket with balsamic and Parmesan, both with basil sauce. En général, on y mange très bien. le service est sympas et efficace.
Basil sauce wad good but slightly too salty and perhaps better served on the side. The moelleux au chocolat plenty chocolatey, but just average (pre-made).

Un nouveau resto de burgers (et entrecôtes) à remplacé le Piment Vert place de Grenus: un déco colorée un peu US des années 60, des tables en terrasse, un accueil souriant: c'est accueillant. Réservation recommandée entre 12h et 14h, car c'est régulièrement plein. La viande cuite minute vient de la Boucherie du Molard, le pain "fait par un boulanger genevois" est léger et moelleux, le menu indique "nous privilégions les produits du terroir genevois" (on remarquera que ça fait très Inglewood ce côté local, mais sans chiffres ça n'est pas très précis...), et les ingrédients sont frais: Tout pour plaire mais malgré ça, il manquait ce petit quelque chose pour être aussi bon que The Hamburger Foundation. Compter entre 15,90.- et 21,90.- pour un burger avec une salade sauce cocktail et des frites. Le New York City (boeuf, tomate, salade, oignons caramélisés, bacon, sauce maison, ketchup et BBQ) avait un peu trop de sauce barbecue; le Gruyère City (boeuf, gruyère affiné 12 mois, cornichons, salade, sauce maison) de mon accompagnatrice avait un généreuse tranche de Gruyère, mais la sauce Together un peu acide-sucrée ne l'a pas convaincue. Sinon la cuisson demandée saignante de nos viandes était parfaite. Remarque pour les amateurs de fromage: sur 10 burgers du menu, seuls 2 en contiennent (si on ne compte pas le végétarien avec la mozza). Il faudra donc rajouter 1.- pour une tranche de cheddar ou 2,5.- pour du gruyère. Les frites sont assez bonnes, avec un peu de paprika. Le menu propose également des burgers avec du poulet, saumon, végétarien, et une entrecôte rassise sur os "unique à Genève" de la Boucherie de Molard.

Un italien intimiste et élégant toujours plein à midi, servant une belle cuisine en bord de vieille-ville. Rien que d'y penser, cela donne faim;-) Il est indispensable de réserver car il n'y a qu'une trentaine de couverts, et les banquiers et autres costards-cravates du coin prennent d'assaut la salle. La déco est classique, feutrée; les tables sont très serrées même si le soir je suppose que ce doit être moins le cas. Le service est très professionnel, présent sans être étouffant et plutôt rapide si l'on prend le plat du jour (possibilité de manger l'entrée et le plat en 45min). Un mercredi midi, nous avons pris un excellent vitello tonnato en entrée du jour (fines tranches rondes rosées, sauce légère, juste parfaite, 21.-) et des pâtes fraiches avec une sauce crémée aux chanterelles en plat du jour (très bonnes aussi, 26.-). Le pain est également excellent: il ne manquerait que de l'huile d'olive sur les tables pour mieux en profiter. Des amandes caramélisées peu sucrées accompagnent le café, ce qui permet de terminer sur une note douce même sans desserts. A refaire absolument!
