iTaste is the best way to find restaurants in Heidelberg
How can I find a good restaurant in Heidelberg? iTaste has become THE tool to use when you're choosing a restaurant, you want to see its menu, etc. It is, however, surprising to get the same search result than your neighbour. We are, after all, unique individuals, aren't we? iTaste is made of your friends reviews. It's a personalized restaurant guide made by your friends. The Yellow Pages give me hundreds of restaurants in Heidelberg, however if I only take into accound the restaurants my friends went to and reviewed, I get a new selection that's perfect for me.

Comment (Cafe Knösel):Walked across Heidelberg old town for THE BEST Black Forest Gateau I have ever had. They have a huge selection of cakes, and I would have tried them all if I had the time and the ability. Great address for a 4 o'clock tea! They do serve "Proper food" - but I'd have two cakes...

Comment (Wirtshaus Nepomuk):Repas à 2, très convivial, super sympa, dans une ville magnifique et pas très de la Suisse. Entrées 2 x Gemischter mit Speck & Croutons 12,95 (salades mêlées, croutons et lardons). Plats principaux 1 x Emincé de porc à la crême, spätzlis et 1 x Schweinemedaillons in Cognacrahm, serviert mit hausgemachten Spätzle, einer gebratenen Maultasche und Schupfnudeln (Médaillons de porc au cognac, spätzlis maison, raviolis avec épinard et légumes, pâtes de pommes de terre). Vin australien et eau. C'était super bon, quelle bonne surprise! Si vous avez très faim, ne dîtes rien, par contre si vous n'avez pas très faim, demandez une petite portion....
To be improved (Wirtshaus Nepomuk):Hors de la Suisse, pour ceux qui ont de la peine avec les Allemands ou l'allemand à déconseiller. Sinon rien à redire....

Comment (Schnitzel Bank):Hidden Gem. We went on the recommendation of another site, and were not disappointed. Very small place, but as there were just two of us we managed to perch at the end of an already occupied table. There is a menu, but if you're a tourist like me, then you're only going here for the Schnitzel. Fantastic!! We both had Schnitzel, potatoes and creamy cabbage, with a few beers....
To be improved (Schnitzel Bank):It's a small place so reserve if you can....

Comment (Perkeo):Wasn't expecting much from this main street tourist pub/bistro. But we were pleasantly surprised. We both had Flammkuchen with local beer. They were wafer thin and really tasty....

Comment (Dionysos):Au coeur de Mannheim, tout près de la zone piétonne, ce restaurant grec ne paye pas de mine de l'extérieur. Une fois entré, atmosphère locale (grèque), service très sympathique, nourriture très fraiche, bonnes salades, bon gyros au tzaziki ou épaule d'agneau braisée. Un petit verre d'ouzo est offert gratuitement en apéritif, et une copieuse salade grecque est donnée en entrée avec les plats. Prix très abordable et un rare restaurant avec des chaises hautes pour enfant et accueillant ceux-ci avec le sourire....
Comment (Dionysos):Das Restaurant ist sehr ordentlich geführt und macht einen sauberen Eindruck....
To be improved (Dionysos):Pas vraiment facile à garer dans le coin, le mieux est d'aller au parking souterrain du Kaufhof. Le restaurant est souvent plein, il vaut mieux réserver ou arriver tôt....
