iTaste is the best way to find restaurants in Brighton

Le Bill's c'est un café, une cantine et aussi boutique bio des plus surprenante! Une institution à Brighton. Un décor atypique, on s'y sent bien, une pièce immense (à mi chemin entre un hangar et une usine!), les clients mangent sur des tables de cantine en bois, les murs sont recouverts d'étagères proposant produits bio, légumes, gateaux, vins, fleurs bref un vrai marché! Un plafond multicolore mais pas criard, un bar géant avec des vitrines qui regorgent de produits frais et de pâtisseries. C'est spécial mais je me suis senti à la maison! Une carte varié, produits bio entre autre, un excellent saumon et un risotto étonnant, breakfast anglais, cocktails de jus de fruits..Un service sympathique et disponible et une note raisonnable!...

Bill's c'est l'endroit parfait dont on rêverait à Paris pour déjeuner ou bruncher. Un joyeux mix de vieux, de jeunes, d'étudiants, de familles et de cadres. Tous y viennent manger d'excellents produits bio et frais. c'est aussi un take away, une épicerie et un primeur. On y mange d'excellents plats anglosaxons : chicken pie, burgers, petits déjeuners, salades, sandwichs et assiettes de fromages mais aussi des desserts à tomber : carrot cakes, toffee cake, cheesecake. Cocktails du jour et fruits frais. What else ? ils ont une autre adresse à Lewes à une vingtaine de kilomètres, aussi à Reading et à Covent garden...

15-20 minutes d'attente pour notre table seule fausse note...

Tables are very crammed with barely any room for the waiters to pass....

Really good indian take away... the best in Brighton in my opinion Its pretty quick aswell...

Love this place! Best indian food I've ever eaten, perfect for late nights studying or just a lazy day when you just don't feel like cooking. Kitchen is viewable from the counter and everything is kept in perfect order. Offer a student discount:)...

Arrived to a new house late on a typically cold English night and the last thing on my mind was cooking. Walked down the hill and chose the first restaurants I saw, and it was a gem! Despite closing in less then an hour they agreed to seat me and my mother and allowed us to take our time. The food was really good and the waiter really knew what he was talking about, getting his input is a must! An extra plus for the warm towels and the chocolates after the meal!:D They also do takeout/delivery so I'm certain I'll be a frequent customer....

Excellent indian restaurant with quite nice decoration. The Chicken Tikka Padham was delicious and not too spicy but just enough....

Slightly overpriced for the area and the type of food...

Used to go here with some classmates every friday after a particularly boring seminar. Like the fact that you go to the bar to order and pay as soon as you have decided, no waiting for waiters or checks:) Really nicely marinades for the chickens. Love their peri peri sauce!...

Went back for a quick lunch in the middle of the saturday rush and got seated surprisingly fast. Had forgotten how much I enjoyed this place. Definitely worth more regular visits. Had some questions about their wine list and despite the queue the cashier took time to go through it with me, definite plus!...

A bit cramped and sometimes it takes time to get seated....

Sufficient for lunch and dinner among friends but due to the noise you would probably not want to bring a date here....

Nice atmosphere quick service...

No booking necessary however this leads to queues if you come during the peak hours. The service functions perfectly and the waiting time is always calculated correctly...

The bar where you are allowed to stay whilst waiting to be seated is quite small so might end up standing up, not something you want to do as the general waiting time is about half an hour....

Very innovative menu, good atmosphere, fast and attentive but not intrusive service....

The serving sizes were quite large and some dishes can be very heavy....

Was brought here on a date and did not know what to expect, French restaurant in England and all. Turns out the food was great! The place was really quiet so we got seated downstairs in the bar, which also seems like an excellent place to pop in to with your friends for a good glass of wine, rather than what's normally served in English pubs. The waitress was really friendly and happy to serve us, she was also very competent in terms of the wine list. All in all a very good experience and I'm hoping to go back there again sometime:)...

The seating situation could be improved, had the place been crowded it would not have been nice to sit downstairs as the tables were elevated and would have had to be shared with another couple....

Service très accueillant Large choix de boissons (ils ont même du cidre suédois ;-) ) Très bon chocolats chauds...

Finally good burgers in the UK Nice terrace...

small, quaint and worth a visit on Wednesdays when you could get a deal on faijtas...

Petit café/brasserie dans un quartier génial de Brighton "North Laine". Déco et ambiance cosy, TOUT super propre (rare quand même!) et service très sympa. Breakfast et brunch parfait, ni trop copieux, ni trop peu. Pas de haute cuisine mais vraiment bon, surtout le " The full Seasons breakfast", ils proposent aussi des plats légers et des déjeuners....

Salle petite, coin de rue donc un peu bruyant surtout le dimanche matin à l'heure du Brunch ! Service chaleureux mais quelque peu lent !...

Magnifique vue de la terrasse sur la mer, en plein centre ville. Bons plats locaux, ambiance agréable...

un vrai pub authentique de l'East Sussex dans une région verdoyante. très ancien ses origines remontent au 14ème siècle. Le pub a son propre jardin et fait partie des pub Harvey's. Cuisine de pub: excellentes saucisses de porc locales, mash et diverses viandes. Assiettes copieuses. Une bonne adresse si vous passez du temps dans la région. Service poli et amicale. Mieux vaut réserver le vendredi et le samedi soir...

L'occasion unique de gouter plus de 80 vins Anglais differents. Une cuisine Anglaise typique et rustique. Je vous recommande tout simplement la "Bang and Mash" un classique qui plait toujours et qui ira sur tous les vins sans les ecraser....

Trop professionel dans l'approche, il manque un petit grain de folie une petite touche qui nous rappellerai les vignerons du continent!...
