Japanese restaurant, a bit Nobu style. The food is of good quality, very tasty. Do try their Summer Sake! Atmosphere is very Zen. It can get very crowded so do reserve in advance....

Le Crannog nous avait été conseillé par les personnes du Bed&Breakfast où l'on séjournait. Et bien on ne regrette absolument pas, nous avons très très bien mangé. Les moules étaient très fraîches et le cheesecake un délice!!! Et au niveau de l'accueil vraiment super. Rien à redire, de l'entrée au dessert nous nous sommes régalés... A refaire!!!...

Another restaurant that feels like an airport in Canary Wharf (quite the norm in this part of town), but has a good buzz at lunchtime. Olives for starter are incredible (I would love to know what makes them so special) but only about 8 of them- beware when sharing… The main courses were great- I had the lamb, but the monkfish special of the day looked amazing. Last time I was here I had the truffle pasta- which was cooked the wrong side of al dente for me. Overall, I still think that the quality of the food here is great, and it is not too pricey either....

You need to get here early to get a table- and unless groups are complete- you won’t be able to be seated. They took forever to bring the very simple drinks order- we had to prompt them twice!...

The food is always tasty, a nice wide choice. The menu gets changed quite frequently which allows a great variety of dishes. As well weekly recommendations of the chef. The ambience is very cozy and buzzing. You have a dining area as well as a bar area where you can have little tib-bits and bar food. There is as well a lounge area where they serve breakfast till 11AM...

Ce resto turc très cosy à Canary Wharf a un côté bistro chic, un côté bar et un côté salon de thé à la turque. Nous y sommes allées dimanche matin pour le petit déj, donc n'ai testé que le côté café. Deja, super déco. grands fauteuils accueillants. bonne sélection de meze, böreks, patisseries et un petit menu de plats typiques d'un petit déjeuner turc. nous avons opté pour 2 assiettes de feta, tomates, concombre, olives, pain pide frais maison et confiture de griottes - petit déj turc le plus typique en somme - accompagné d'un çay. très jolie terrasse sur l'eau pour les beaux jours, aussi bien côté bar, café que resto. clientèle essentiellement turque, très BCBG....

Excellent small Indian restaurant! everything here is fresh, juicy and homemade. In case you got lost beyond M25 ... ca. 60km, East from London, in Kent, 5 minutes drive from Rochester ( 40 min train from Victoria Station), it's definitely worth to stop here ! maybe you just visited Leeds Castle .. the lovely little castel in Kent with the black swans ? ... then it's on your way back to London. Everything is home made here: from food to kindness. You are genuinely treated as a Special Guest no matter who you are and how often you were here. Very professional cooking, original and varied choice of meals that goes beyond the usual indian foods & tastes - they are also available, by the way. Every meal is juicy !!! from the starters - I warmly recommend the garlic mushrooms that come with home made chutneys- to the dry dishes. All the vegetarian part is a treat ! not to mention the home made pickles that accompany your fresh papadams order and ... the hot Garlic Naans. My favourites are the chicken and lamb meals - lot's of special herbs mix and new taste to discover. Furniture is slight kitsh-indian with english touch....

no parking possibility DRINKS it's an indian restaurant therefore limited sorts of drinks: 2 sort of beers King Fisher & Cobra - according to my husband you have to eat Indian food with these beers. for those like me who aren't keen on beers, you are left with the usual choice between a glass (be aware of UK size, 1 Glass = 2,5 dl ) Pinot Grigio (good) , Tee ( only englis black tea...since "nobody here drinks tea with evening meal" ) or water....

This is a wonderful bistrot set on a beautiful Loch in Scotland on the western coast between Fort William and Oban. Their seafood is outstanding and fresh and the service is quick and friendly. There is a beautiful view on the Loch if you are lucky enough to have a table at the window and there is also a shop in the same building of the restaurant. We had dinner here on our return trip from Fort William to Oban and the fish was really fantastic. We've chosen the Hot Roasted Shellfish Platter for 2 (85 £) and it was really delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone....

Typique restaurant chic anglais de province ! le public délicieusement british est assorti au décor. Le premier arrêt se fait au bar, magnifique, avec bière ou vin, et c'est là , au bar, que l'on choisit tranquillemnet son menu. Excellente viande, même chose pour les poissons ( la sole que nous avons goûtée était magnifique). Le T-Bone d'excellente qualité dépasse l'assiette, pourtant grande, à gauche et à droite. La sole est géante. Le tout est délicieux, très fin - sauf les légumes. Le tout agréablement présenté, alléchant. L'accueil est superbe, l'ambiance chaleureuse, les serveurs extrêment attentifs. Bonne carte de vin, mais à des prix exagéré, dès 28£ la bouteille. Un arrêt sympatique après la visite de la cathédrale de Canterburry, par exemple, ou d'une autre curiosité dans le magnifique Comté du Kent, à env. 70 km de Londres....

Restaurant italien faisant partie d'une chaîne appelé "ZIZZI". Eh oui, ce n'est pas un gag........J'ai découvert ce resto à Canary Wharf, qui offre une splendide vue sur la Tamise. A Londres, il y a environ 20 restaurants du même nom. Ce restaurant est spécialisé dans la cuisine italienne, avec des antipasti, pâtes, risotto et bien sûr les pizzas. Attention ce n'est pas de la haute cuisine, mais le rapport qualité est excellent pour Londres....

La qualité et le restaurant peut fortement varié d'un restaurant à l'autre à Londres...

Cétait la deuxième fois que je mange ici, et la première fois que je paie. Il faut croire que le restaurant est plutôt bon pour que j'éprouve le désir de passer à la caisse. J'ai mangé sur la terrasse cette fois, ce qui est très agréable quand il fait beau. Le pain est très bon, el j'en ai mangé une quantité en attendant mon amie qui avait une heure de retard... Mais en sirotant un bon vin, je ne m'ennuyais pas et les serveurs m'ont fichu une paix royale. La nourriture est délicieuse, le cadre très agréable. En tant qu'amateur de poisson, je pense que je retournerais, mais bon, ce n'est pas bon marché quand même...

Mon amie a commandé 3 sortes d'huîtres différents. On lui a apporté les 3 sortes qu'elle n'avait pas commandées. Pas brillant. Mais elle les a renvoyés et on les lui a changés sans problème. J'avais commandé la soupe au poisson provençal. Je me disais bien que leur version était originale, quand le serveur m'a avoué que j'étais en train de manger le bisque de homard qu'ils m'avaient apporté par erreur. Deux commandes, deux erreurs. Mais bon, je suis facile. J'ai trouvé le bisque excellent, alors cela m'a pas gêné, mais ça fait désordre quand même....

I went to a work dinner (40 people) at this restaurant. I have been before- I must say that I really love it- it is the only building with character in Canary Wharf. It is a bit off the beaten track (it’s near the cinema on West India Quay)- but that makes it more like an oasis in London’s answer to Gotham City. The décor is really fab- lovely historic building with an added contemporary twist. The food here is delicious- upmarket curry house (with prices to match). The Chicken Tikka is outstanding. At the moment- you do not pay for space hire if you are with a big group (just food and drink per head). This may change with the anticipated change of ownership (I hope that it doesn't close...)....

The service was appalling. In their defense, we were a big group. However, everyone had the same starter (salmon- which took ages to arrive), and the main course was a selection of curries and veg placed at the centre of each table. But noone was courteous or seemed to care that we were waiting for so long, and they didn’t bother to check that we were ok for drinks. I would also like to point out that apparently this restaurant has gone into administration over the past few weeks- so perhaps the staff may feel somewhat at risk (although apparently a buyer has been found)....

Having been to the Westfield shopping centre restaurant with good experiences, and was looking forward to trying out the newly opened Canary Wharf branch.   I went with a group of colleagues, and we had a margarita at the bar while waiting for a table. I was most impressed by their system to give one member of your dining party a remote, which buzzes and flashes when your table is ready (it is indeed the small things keep me happy). Seated and served promptly; and the waiter took the time to explain the concept of Mexican food and Wahaca to us (yawn). Ordering is very like at Wagamamas, and writing down your order on your own placemat is not a bad idea when in a group you each have several dishes that come in no certain order. You have the usual Quesadillas, Taco, Tortillas, Burritos and some larger dishes. I really enjoyed the “Huitlacoche Quesadillas” with corn, mushroom and cheese (priced at around £4!). You probably only need 3 small dishes per person. Overall: Good Mexican as far as London goes, relaxed atmosphere and good food at reasonable prices that is great for sharing....

It is quite cold in this restaurant, and we were sat by a door which had an extra draft. I love red onion- but you have to know where to draw the line. It can be very overpowering in dishes, and did not really suit the guacamole (portions were wrong…)....
