Comment (The George & Dragon):Very cute pub close to Canterbury. They have refined Pub food from Fish and Chips to Burgers with home made buns, Pepper & Garlic Mayonnaise etc Nice choice of beers too. The pub is very cozy, with a fire place in the middle. You have your pub side and a dining side. The pub is located right beside a river so when the weather is dry you can sit on their terrace by the river. You do need a car to get there!...

Comment (Mermaid Inn):Si vous aimez la "gastronomie" anglaise, vous ne serez pas déçus. Les plats sont présentés comme de la grande cuisine mais le résultat gustatif reste moyen. Même le petit déjeuner "british" est très moyen, le goût des oeufs nous est resté toute la journée !!!! Seul avantage : le cadre idyllique qui date de 1156. Les salles sont splendides, nous avions réservé dans cet hôtel car il est réputé comme "hanté" mais nous n'y avons vu aucun fantôme. A la réception, photos des nombreuses personnalités qui ont visité ce lieu, la famille royale, acteurs, chanteurs, hommes politiques de tous pays....
