The start was excellent with very nice and a lot of amuses. The duck was perfectly prepared and cheese trolley of maitre fromagier Van Tricht superb. 2 very young chefs already 3 years now with a star. Location is harbour area north of Antwerp....

Vrij stijve bediening, aan de prijzige kant maar goed dat weet je als je sterrenzaken bezoekt....

Probably the most famous in Antwerp, the place is always packed and food quality normally always good-sufficient. But being with colleagues in a busy week we really were not happy to wait 50 minutes for the starter. main course timing was good. On the food quality no remarks, honest but not surprising. Classic menu with a good mix between fresh seafood-fish-steak. the red wine we ordered was great; Montevertine 2006-Siena-sangiovese....

Nice decoration, ideal for a romantic dinner for 2. Very nice cuisine made by Johan, can be surprising. Julie leads the restaurant service very well, good wine advise....

Very young chef with big potential. Located in the countryside about 20 minutes east from Antwerp. the interior was nice but for me too classic and not reflecting the young owners. We took the fix lenu and the starter was excellent with lobster, eel and celeriac. A bit truffeloil but not too much. The currysoup with broccoli was absolutely too spicy and killed all wine flavours. A bit too much in a gastronomic menu is my opinion as the taste stayed for hours. As a main course the veal was excellent again with correct cuisson. Also the citrus dessert was taste wise good. It only took far too long and we could only leave at 11.30PM. e had an excellent white portugese wine, donna Maria, amantis...

We prefer to choose one good bottle of wine instead of the wine selection that goes with the menu....

Timing, very young team in service. I missed an experience maitre....

This restaurant has established a good reputation in ANtwerp. Location wise not perfect in the city centre but for gastronomics a place to discover. Last year they were finally rewarded with the first Michelin star which is well deserved. I never had the chance before and wednesday luckily we had a great evening in La Luna. The place was very calm which gave a little bit dead impression. The restaurant is nicely decorated in a modern but stylish way. We enjoyed the gastronomic menu by the chef which was a 5 course. The amuses with the apero were great and the Proseco was a good choice. As starter we had a combination of tuna with fresh crab, mousse of crab and cucumber salad. the dish was very good balanced. Followed by seabass with a nicely served Sancerre wine. Strange smell but great taste this wine. The mean dish, Pigeon combined with chicory and a red wine sauce. Superb cuisson. The dessert was a mango cake. Nice finish but no change to cheese was proposed....

Only 8 covers that evening killed a little the atmosphere....
