iTaste is the best restaurant guide for Nieuport
How can I find a good restaurant in Nieuport? iTaste has become THE tool to use when you're choosing a restaurant, you want to see its menu, etc. It is, however, surprising to get the same search result than your neighbour. We are, after all, unique individuals, aren't we? iTaste is made of your friends reviews. It's a personalized restaurant guide made by your friends. The Yellow Pages give me hundreds of restaurants in Nieuport, however if I only take into accound the restaurants my friends went to and reviewed, I get a new selection that's perfect for me.

Comment (Flavie's Tafel):Restaurants in touristic areas often tempted to lower the quality in tourist season's, but in Flavie's we had an excellent quality lunch. The exterior does not look special and the interior is more like an all day bistro but the quality of the dishes and wines was absolutely great and at a high level. Not easy to find a fish restaurant, kid & pet friendly but with excellent food & drinks. The red mullet fish was very tasty a a very good portion. Here you can still find an honest kitchen quality. when being in Nieuwpoort, Belgian coast a good spot for lunch and dinner. The wines are reasonably priced and they serve a lot of good wines per glas. We tried the Chardonnay Bogle and it was an excellent choice. The hosts now how to select decent priced good wines....
To be improved (Flavie's Tafel):For a bistro this was just great, maybe add more choice of special starters. Outside terrace could use more caractere....

Comment (Botticelli):Not easy to find in a touristic area a trendy place with excellent wines and great choices by the glass. The food is typical Italian Classic cuisine, no surprises but very fresh ingredients. Excellent place for lunch. The Vitello Tonato was just great but not wauw. The Colterenzio chardonnay was an excellent choice, mineral taste with exotical fruit but still a good full body. If you are in the area and do not want those typical tourist restaurants with day menus, for sure try Boticelli....
