iTaste is the best restaurant guide for Parati
How can I find a good restaurant in Parati? iTaste has become THE tool to use when you're choosing a restaurant, you want to see its menu, etc. It is, however, surprising to get the same search result than your neighbour. We are, after all, unique individuals, aren't we? iTaste is made of your friends reviews. It's a personalized restaurant guide made by your friends. The Yellow Pages give me hundreds of restaurants in Parati, however if I only take into accound the restaurants my friends went to and reviewed, I get a new selection that's perfect for me.

Comment (Restaurant Refugio):Considered probably the best restaurant in town, in the main square. Walking up to is like walking back in time. Excellent service, wonderful menu, good food, good wines and very expensive prices. If you do not know Paraty (also spelled Parati), consider it one of the most beautiful villages to visit in all of brazil. Located by the sea it is one of the best preserved old towns. Long difficult to reach by land it was a conduit for smuggled gold. Now attracting a very in crowd it has both a literary and a jazz festival of international renown. Try the Langoustine and the prawns. Excellent salad of palm hearts. You have to walk from a parking situated 400 meters away through the old town. Sometimes hard to access when the sea waters flood the town's streets (like in Venice)...
