iTaste is the best restaurant guide for São Paulo

One of the most "in" restaurants in Sao Paulo and one of Brazil's top chefs. Definitely book if you want a table. Lovely white interior that make you feel like you were sitting in a restaurant on the seaside. Backyard terrace that is also lovely and protected from the weather by a canopy letting in lots of light. Beautiful, fashionable people everywhere and what food! Excellently presented, prefect cuisson; traditional dishes with a Brazilian twist. I ate a pan seared tuna with quinoa and a ginger flavoured Brazilian berry sauce....

The traffic in Sao Paulo!! Not cheap....

Le cadre est exceptionnel La cuisine est excellente La carte est variée...

Sur la rue, juste une porte noire, on ne sait même pas si c'est ouvert quand on arrive tôt. Et quand la porte s'ouvre, une sorte de mini paradis recréé, avec la moitié de la salle simulant une sorte de jungle civilisée avec des juex d'eaux, a voir absolument. Service impeccable et stylé, manque un peu de chaleur pour le Brésil tout de même. Nourriture mélange d'italien et de français, très bonne et généreuse....

Amélioration de l'étanchéité du toit, un orage a pu passé au travers et toutes les tables côté jungle ont dû se déplacer de peur d'être trempé....

If you eat in only one restaurant in Sao Paulo this might as well be it. First is the setting: you are sitting under an enormous tree that must be hundreds of years old and whose amazing branches expand across the enture terrace of roughly 300 square meters. All of SP's jet set are here and rightly so as you eat the best meat in town and there is also a very good Feijoada of black beans served buffet style. Excellent for business lunches. Valet parking....

Traffic and crime in Sao Paulo...

In a hotel, albeit very nice one, so lacks a little bit of the charm of a stand alone restaurant. The night I was there though there was a greta DJ playing house music and you can sit at the bar or in the lounge. Excellent sushi. Some of the freshest fish I have ever eaten and very friendly staff. Also quite expensive. When you order Sake you get a choice of Brazilian, Japanese, and Californian....

Service professionnel et agréable. Enorme choix de plats (entrées, viandes, poissons, accompagnements, salades, sans oublier les desserts devant lesquels il est impossible de résister)....

Une terrasse serait bienvenue mais c'est difficile dans ce quartier agité en plein centre du quartier des affaires (La Paulista),...

Le NOMA Bresilien. Une gastronomie passionante a base d'inspiration Amazoniene. Un must pour tous les amateur de nature et de saveur nouvelle. Un chef au sommet de son talent qui decouvre de nouveaux ingredients pratiquement quotidiennent. Ca change tous le temps et c'est toujours bon...

Bon restaurant italien avec une très belle vue sur Sao Paulo....

Friendly but "brazilian" service, well informed maitre de restaurant, good food. Nothing to compare to Maroush in London but very good and one of the best in Sao Paulo for Lebanese apparently....

The restaurant has little ambiance with too much lighting/light, poorly laid out tables and a rather impersonal decor....

Sao Paulo has a big-city-making-lots-of-money feel to it and this restaurant is no exception. It is a very stylised and very in restaurant of the moment speciaiising in Spanish fare. The food is good without being of a gourmet category. I was no paying so cannot comment on prices but assume they were high. Excellent wine list. Good service but not top. The word in Sao Paulo though is that this is a very in place and worth a visit....

Excellente food at a reasonable price in a restaurant that could be at home anywhere in Europe, but especially in Italy, Spain or Portugal. A mixed crowd at lunch but mainly business and slightly more upmarket in the evening. Argentinian owner with huge reputation in Sao Paulo for authentic products. Had a lovely stake with grilled vegetables and a salad. Nice wine selection. Definitely worth a detour. There is secure parking in the back. Excellent coffee....

Un de mes spots préférés à São Paulo! l'ambiance est très sympa, en terasse comme à l'intérieur. Ouvert toute la journée, on peut faire un stop au Santo Grão à n'importe quel moment! Idéalement entre deux magasins, vu qu'il est situé sur Oscar Feire! LA rue shopping à SP! Vous devez absolument goûter le gâteau aux carottes! Il est trèèès YUMMY!...

Josephine est situé dans un des quartiers les plus chics de Sao Paulo. Avec sa grande terasse et son jardin intérieur, c'est un restaurant où l'on se sent bien. On y retrouve toute la "gente bonita" de Sao Paulo ainsi qu'une atmosphère très agréable, non seleunement grâce à son décor mais aussi à son service. Josephine offre un mélange de plats typiques du Brésil et de plats contemporains. Je vous conseille en entrée les bruschettas et les "Pasteis" bresiliens (farcis à la viande, au fromage ou au coeur de palmier). En plat principal, mon plat préféré, le carré d'agneau aux fines herbes avec des gnocchi aux champignons. Le restaurant offre aussi une grande variété de salades, sandwiches et pates. Pour le dessert je vous conseille le brigadeiro de colher et le "Petit Gateau" au chocolat, tout deux étant typiquement brésiliens!...

Une table d'exception dans un quartier charmant de Sao Paulo. Première fois dans ma vie que j'ai mangé les morilles! Le chef Erik Jacquin, français, mérite tous les prix qu'il a gaigné pour sa cuisine a la fois traditionelle et créative....

C'est la traditionnelle cuisine française! J'y vais depuis que je suis petit enfant....

Tous les plats sont exceptionels. Le cadre est chaleureux et moderne....
