Comment (Roberto):

I have to say that as a very demanding foodie, this place just blew me away. Located 6 km outside of Santiago, it has a controversial history. It has a Michelin star at one point and expensive menus. I do not know the details of what happened but at 40 Euro a person with wine (lunch) this is one of the best value meals I have has in a long time for this quality of food. The service was good but not excessively friendly and the deserts were weak but the rest was amazing. The setting a is an old country house in Ciban (there is a lovely country hotel just next door). The inside is dripping with warmth and it feels like the tables have been spread out on the four or five living rooms of the first floor of the house. There is a degustation menu which is a bit more expensive but well worth it for anyone that wants to explore the delicacies of the local produce and cooking. Great Ribeiras and Godillos to go with the food. Great spot to celebrate the end of the Camino!!...
