Comment (Lola):Went on Sunday evening and enjoyed the Paella special. My companions had the chile relleno and the blackened escolar, all were well prepared and very tasty. I've been to Lola on many occasions, but this was the best dinner I've had there, probably ever. Chef Jamey Fahey has upped this game this fall. The standards (table side quacamole, for instance) are always good....
To be improved (Lola):Lola has a tendency to go for the fancy stacked food approach, which only works when everything is just right. Otherwise, it can seem a bit pretentious....
