Comment (La Maison d'Hélène):C'est le berry aux confins de la Sologne...pour trouver la maison d'Hélène, il faut passer par les bois, en suivant les indication "château de la Verrerie", à 12 km en partant d'Aubigny/Nère ou de Vailly/Sauldre. C'est un peu comme si vous entriez dans un conte: une petite et charmante maison à colombages du XVII°, au bout de l'allée: le château (que vous pouvez visitez et qui peut vous accueillir pour la nuit dans une de ses grandes chambres d'hôtes). Il vaut mieux s'être annoncé, la salle chaleureuse, élégante et plutôt intimiste n'est pas très grande. Par temps frais un feu de bois dans la grande cheminée. La cuisine agréable et assez raffinée suit les saisons, avec les légumes du potager, le gibier des bois alentours. Les vins: Sancerre, Touraine, Volnay sont plein de charme....

Comment (La Chaumière):Très joli cadre avec une belle salle lumineuse et tables espacées. Service très poli Menu du marché à 20 euros, accessible pour un resto de ce standing donc. Nous avons choisi un menu gourmand à 40 euros, en entrée suprème de caille confite en salade, huile de noisette, copieux rien à redire. Filet de boeuf sauce sancerre et échalottes, la viande était très tendre et en bonne quantité, la sauce bien dosée En dessert, trio de crèmes brulées parfumées. Bref, de bons produits, une cuisine du terroir savoureuse, une belle carte de vins....
