How can I find a good restaurant in Saint-Cyr-du-Bailleul? iTaste has become THE tool to use when you're choosing a restaurant, you want to see its menu, etc. It is, however, surprising to get the same search result than your neighbour. Comment (La Bonne Marmite):Un ancien relais de poste de plus de 200 ans avec son style normand et sa vieille cour pavée. Le temps semble s'être arrêté il y a 40 ans avec sa salle de restaurant désuète, son plafond à caissons, sa décoration ancienne et ses couverts en argent chargés d'histoire. Tout semble nous rappeler ce qu'était la gastronomie de province il y a bien longtemps, une cuisine généreuse, riche, lourde, de bonnes cuissons. Une ambiance un peu trop calme et feutrée pour moi. On a du mal à terminer son dessert tellement les plats sont riches....

Comment (Le Moulin de Jean):UNE TRES BELLE CUISINE DANS UN ECRIN DE VERDURE, Une seconde visite dans cet établissement de grande qualité, inventivité , qualité et précision font de la cuisine a un attrait primordiale du lieu , le tout servi par un maitre d'hôtel hyper compétent et trés sympathique...belle assiette de mise en bouche comprenant un feuilleté au boudin, un toast a la mousse de saumon, un a l'houmous, et un feuilleté roulé jambon fromage, pour entrée un tartare de saumon oeuf de cailleet croquant de concombre joliment présenté; une trilogie de gambas en escabèche, rilette de maquereaux au curry et carpaccio de pétoncles marinées ; un cervelas de petit salé au foie gras et choux vert . En plat principal un filet de rascasse rôti au chorizo avec une réduction de tomates et petits légumes, un filet de barbue grillé aux aubergines épinard tomates confites au beurre blanc..excellente cuisson ! et pour finir de trés beaux desserts gouteux et joliment présentés, le tout accompagné par un original Irancy 2008...
To be improved (Le Moulin de Jean):juste un peu de difficulté pour localiser l'endroit même pour une seconde visite......
