Hum, miam, mhhhhh, que dire, c'est drôlement bon! Menu du soir à 35€, avec cocktail maison (jus de cranberry, malibu et citron je crois, je m'attendais à un truc sirupeux écœurant, mais c'était parfait!), mise en bouche, entrée, plat, fromage et dessert. Alors déjà, le cadre est magnifique, c'est beau et bien décoré, alliance du rustique (poutre, pierres apparentes) et du moderne (tons taupe, vaisselle design, déco tendance), on s'y sent bien, les tons sont chauds, il y a de l'espace pour discuter sans en faire profiter ses voisins, que du ! La mise en bouche, un tartare de thon et saumon à la crème de champignons, par-fait! Même l'olive qui était dessus était fantastique, moi qui ne raffole pas des olives, c'est vous dire! En entrée j'ai pris un ballotin de foie gras au jambon serrano et compotée de figues au vinaigre balsamique: la portion de foie gras était généreuse, le jambon enroulait le ballotin et avait été cuit avec, j'ai même mangé le gras tellement c'était bon :) A souligner, la présentation impeccable (avec une dentelle de caramel et tout et tout!) En plat, nous avons tous les deux choisi le cœur de filet de bœuf aux petits poireaux confits, les poireaux étaient caramélisés, la viande aussi, la sauce était un poil salée mais relevait bien le tout. L'assortiment de fromages était classique (tome, emmental et chèvre), mais bon. La salade manquait un peu de sauce (je chipote!). Et alors le clou du spectacle... le dessert... J'en suis encore toute retournée! J'ai pris une "bavaroise café, croustillant brownie aux noix de macadamia, émulsion au Baileys" ... Waouh. Servie dans une grosse verrine, la bavaroise en dessous, une énorme couche de crème fouettée aérienne aromatisée, le tout surplombé d'éclats de brownie, j'en aurais mangé trois juste par gourmandise si je m'étais écoutée. Une véritable révélation que ce dessert! Nota bene: le restaurant ferme dans deux jours, mais pas de panique, le chef Eric Nobecourt ne fait que déménager à Urzy (toujours dans la Nièvre) et ouvrira son nouveau restaurant le 16 octobre 2011. Il me semble que c'est le restaurant la Fontaine-Cavalier qui va l'accueillir, mais je vous confirmerai cela. J'irai tester ça pour vous dès son ouverture!!!...

La viande demandée saignante était un poil trop cuite à mon goût, mais c'est tout ce que je trouve à leur reprocher!...
