Excellent choice of Piemontese and Novarese food, e.g. ravioli al brasato, ganassino di vitello, torta di nocciole, etc. Good choice of wines from nearby villages, e.g. Gattinara....

This is my favourite fish restaurant in Northern Italy (but until now also in the whole world), especially their fish crudo plates are absolutely to die for (the fishes and the shellfishes literally melt down in your mouth!). The owner Pino and his son Davide manage the service in a very friendly but also professional way. You immediately feel like at home but you also know that both, Pino for the plates and Davide for the wines, know very well what they are talking about! As I already said in my opinion if you like raw fish this is the place to go! Absolutely fantastic, but also the pasta dishes with fish and the main fish courses are delicious. The desserts are very good too! It is a 1 Michelin Star restaurant and I would personally put it in the Gourmet category! I think it belongs there. I recommend it to all the fish lovers people....

Today I had another fantastic lunch at this wonderful fish restaurant. Everything was excellent and delicious starting from the raw fish and shellfish courses and continuing with the pasta dishes and the dessert (an excellent fior di latte icecream with moscato zabaione). We had 4 wines (champagne, white, red and dessert wine) and all were really very good. This is my favourite fish restaurant and I highly recommend it to everyone! The Possoni Family is really fantastic and Pino (the father) opened this restaurant in 1973 (next Year they will celebrate their 40 Years!). Delicious food, excellend and friendly service... a fantastic lunch!...

The room is too old style (70's), the decor could be improved....

Cuisine typique du nord de l'Italie. A ceux qui font attention à leur ligne, passer votre chemin ! Mais c'est tellement bon que vous auriez tort ! ;-) Pas de carte, la patronne vous cite les mets du jours, entrées frits, pâtes et viandes seront au rendez-vous ! Cuisine comme à la maison. L'accueil est très sympa et le cadre à l'extérieur est agréable, mais attention aux moustiques, la salle à l'intérieur, est un peu vieillotte mais correspond au cadre du restaurant....

J'y vais régulièrement quand je suis en Italie, j'ai l'impression que la carte "virtuelle" commence à tourner en rond. Cuisine comme à la maison, avec ses bons et mauvais coté, authenticité d'un coté et un peu trop classique de l'autre......

Very good 1 Michelin Star Restaurant in Gallarate. It is set in a wonderful Villa and the ambience and rooms are really elegant. The service is good, but can be improved and the food is very good. We've chosen the à la carte menu and we had to start his signature dish “Profumo: tartare di gamberi shake con gin tonic" (delicious) followed by raw meat with foie gras and cherries", "pumpkin tortelli", "spaghetti carbonara", "Oven-baked pigeon", "lobster with dried tomatoes" and we finished with their signature dessert "L'oro di Napoli, omaggio alla pastiera napoletana: tradizionale, gelato e secondo lo chef" (very good). The Chef is from Naples and his cuisine is based on revisited southern Italy ingredients and recipes. The price is very good (wines and food) and I recommend this restaurant to everyone....

Service could be improved!...

Face à l'église Santa Maria delle Grazie qui contient la fameuse Cene de Leonard de Vinci (réserver plusieurs mois à l'avance pour la voir). Nous sommes entrés par hasard dans ce japonais à la façade quelconque. Une excellente surprise nous attendait à l'intérieur avec des sashimis très frais, des sushis de bon calibre, une salade d'algues excellente et un cadre sympathique (resto intégré à une librairie). Parfait en attendant l'ouverture de l'église ou après la visite. Un peu plus loin, entrer dans la patisserie San Carlo (via Carducci 36) pour gouter des glaces excellentes et surtout des pâtisseries enrobées de chocolat étonnantes et délicieuses....

C'est tout petit, donc risque important de ne pas avoir de place....

Superbe salle et terrasse ombragée par un magnifique arbre. Cuisine raffinée présentation réussie service attentif le tout dans un magnifique petit village du Piémont...
