Ein Schweizer Reataurant durch und durch, hier wird jeder Gast noch persönlich vom Chef empfangen. in der Küche werden nur regionale Produkte verwendet. Das Dinkelbrot wird täglich selber im Haus produziert... Service sehr gut obwohl er nicht aus der Region kommt.:-)) Vorspeise eine wunderschöne tomatencreme Suppe, dann Fidazer Gulasch mit Pizokel und Gemüse, zum Schluss ein Aprikosen Sorbet mit Apricotin war sehr fein...Fleisch war top aus eigener Zucht in Falera.... Weiter wurde noch ein Forelle bestellt, Rindsmedaillon mit Pommes und Gemüse......

Jenins is located in the Bündner Herrschaft, the lovely wine region nearby Bad Ragaz and Maienfeld... one usually drives past it, on its way to St. Moritz or other ski-resorts of the kind in the Graubünden Canton. Try to stop by one of these villages (Malans, Maienfeld, Jenins, Fläsch) and discover their wine-restaurants AND their wines. You'll be surprised. The Alter Torkel is a beautiful restaurant, located on top of a vineyard. The menu is written on a black-board and the choice isn't very broad...which is a synonim to fresh though. The old wine press (Torkel) is present in the one big, big room in which the restaurant is located. It is an impressive piece of furniture, a true reminder of the past times. A wall is dedicated to the bottled wines: you can pick your own. With or without the help of the staff. No need for further decorations and a great selection. Good variety. Dinner was very tasty, good size portions. I can imagine this place as the location for a private event....

Superbe "caveau" avec restauration limitée mais intéressante. J'y au dégusté un plat de viande froide des grisons. Bien présenté et plutôt copieux. Toutefois, la serveuse a oublié de mettre le couvert...Choix de vins étendu mais particulièrement élevé dans les prix. L'environnement est simplement exceptionnel....

A pity that only regular wines are available by the glass. Avoid the table next to the big entrance door as the draft of cold air will reach you every time it opens....

Cela commence par une grande soif en début de soirée dans le labytinthe de ruelles de la vieille ville de Coire. Le printemps est installé et l'occupation des terrasses est un excellent indicateur. Je commande une bière et découvre que cette terrasse est celle d'un hôtel restaurant. Il faut monter pour accèder au restaurant, une grande salle boisée près de la réception de l'hôtel. Il y a probablement d'autres salles à manger, vu la taille de la bâtisse. Je commande des capuns avec 2 dl de pinot noir de Malans. On m'amène du pain à la bière et du fromage d'alpage avec le vin, puis les capuns avec une décoration de viande des Grisons. Il sont servis très chauds et j'ai bien apprécié....

Hatten wohl nicht den besten Abend des Rebleuten-Teams erwischt. Die Bedienung war nett, es dauerte aber sehr lange, bis wir bedient wurden. Und dies, obwohl die Gaststube durchschnittlich besetzt war und wir die einzigen neuen Gäste waren. Wir probierten u.a. die Wildspezialitäten (Besuch im Herbst): leider war das Fleisch zu sehr durch. Nichts mir rosa (wie es erforderlich wäre und wie wir es auch bestellt hatten). Den Frauen wurde dafür das Dessert offeriert – eine versöhnliche Geste. Weil es ein sehr hübsches Restaurant ist, ein Fumoir hat und sich die Bedienung bemühte, den "Schaden" wieder gutzumachen, würde ich es dennoch empfehlen....

Koch: Gewünschte Garstufen des Fleisches beherrschen. Service: Schneller werden, v.a. wenn das Restaurant nicht gerade von Gästen gestürmt wird....

Klein, gemütlich, hübsch eingerichtet mit alten Bauernmöbeln. Sehr persönlich. Herzliche Bedienung und aufgestellte Köchin. Das herzige, romantische Beizli macht seinem Namen alle Ehre. Essen sehr gut; frische, selbstgemachte Bündner Spezialitäten (herrliche Polenta). Tolle Weine und leckerer Nocino! Noch ein Geheimtipp!!...

Très belle ville avec plein de boutiques.... un max de resto et une ambiance festive à l'heure de l'apéro. Le va bene offre une carte pour tous les budgets... nous avons opté pour un menu chasse savoureux, carpacio de biche et vinaigrette au racine rouge, filet de livre au genièvre... les vins des grisons sont très bon et gagne à être connu. La patronne parle très bien le français...
