How can I find a good restaurant in Wiedlisbach? iTaste has become THE tool to use when you're choosing a restaurant, you want to see its menu, etc. It is, however, surprising to get the same search result than your neighbour. We are, after all, unique individuals, aren't we? iTaste is made of your friends reviews. It's a personalized restaurant guide made by your friends. The Yellow Pages give me hundreds of restaurants in Wiedlisbach, however if I only take into accound the restaurants my friends went to and reviewed, I get a new selection that's perfect for me.

Comment (Acqua):In einem ehemaligen Wasserwerk, gleich bei der Heuwaage. Industrielles Design - Wow - vieles belassen wie es war als noch Wasser und nicht wie heute Speis und Trank aufbereitet wurde. Ergänzt mit vielen atraktiven Dekordetails unter Weglassung von Prunk und Kitsch. Lange Bar zum Anlaufnehmen auf einen freien Tisch oder einfach um dem Kommen, Verweilen und Gehen der illustren Gästeschar zuzusehen. Die Bar endet da wo der italienische Koch Diego Carli mit seiner Crew auf engstem Raum das täglich wechselnde kleine aber marktfrische Angebot aus der Küche zaubert. Alleine zuzusehen wie das funktioniert ist schon eine Attraktion. Das Speisenangebot reduziert sich auf einige Gerichte, 2,3 Vorspeisen, 2,3 Hauptgerichte und etwas zum Nachtisch. Alles in guter Qualität und geschmacklich sehr gut zubereitet. Schön zu sehen, wie dieses Lokal funktioniert ohne das Millionen investiert wurden. Aqua verspricht was der Name ist - wer da war braucht diese spezielle Atmosphäre immer wieder, wie Wasser zum Leben. Trendy Location. Im Winter, ab November steht neben dem Aqua das Baracca Zermatt eine Berghütte, welche authentischer nicht sein könnte und vom Zermatter Künstler Heinz Julen gestaltet wurde. Ich "Chäs rüehre" und in die gemütliche Alpenwelt eintauchen....
Comment (Acqua):Endroit magnifique, superbe déco. Nous avons été à midi : au menu salade avec roulade de jambon fourré au fromage, risotto aux épinards. Très bon et si vous en désirez encore vous avez même droit à un deuxième service. Sur chaque table il y a une carafe d'eau ainsi qu'une bouteille de vin rouge comprise dans le prix du menu (25.-) Par contre il faut réservé l'endroit est souvent complet...

Comment (Moospinte):Dieses Lokal bleibt auch nach 18 Monaten unser uneingeschränkter Liebling. Ich habe das Menue fotografiert, weiss aber nicht, wie runterladen. Sonntag Mittag, das Lokal ist gut gefüllt und wir freuen uns auf eine weitere kulinarische Reise der Sonderklasse , einmal mehr wurden wir nicht enttäuscht. Amouse Bouche: Kartoffelpurée mit Mehrbohnen und gebratener Black Tiger Crevette, Sauce vom Holzapfel und frittierter Topinambour. Ein Gedicht. Frittierte Kartoffelkreise, gefüllt mit einem wundebar weichen Eigelb, gefüllt mit Kartoffelespuma. Dazu Kartoffelsphagettis mit Speck, Tranchen vom Pata Negra, karamelisierte Datteln, Dattelsauce und ein Krokant von Speck und Brot, in dieser Kombination was für eine Geschmacksexplosion. Eine äusserst geschmacksstarke Schwarzwurzelcrmesuppe, dekoriert mit einem Cracker mit gesalzener Kondensmilch, in einer separaten Schale Schwarzwurzelragout mit Froschschenkelragout und gebratenen Froschschenkeln und nochmals separat eine Emoulsion von Milch und Akazienhonig, was für eine tolle Idee. Danach Langustine mit roter Beete, Blutwurst und Apfelkompott und Apfellamellen, garniert mit Pulver von roter Beete. Ich mag keine Blutwurst, aber dennoch ist dieser Gang äusserst empfehlenswert, da so noch nie gegessen. Das grosse Finale: souvide im Vacuum äusserst schonend und delikat zubereiteter Damhirschrücken mit Rahmwirsing, Knödeln gefüllt mit Speck und Pilzen und Preiselbeeren, eine Preiselbeerglace und ein Traum von einer Sauce, Wild reloaded 2011. Dann noch die leckeren Friandises und unser Tag war mehr als im Lot....
Comment (Moospinte):Einmal mehr ein geniales Essen mit Geschmäckern und Kombinationen, noch nie gehabt und dennoch geliebt. Ein wunderschöner Samstag Mittag und wir hatten viel Zeit und einen guten Hunger mitgebracht: Amouse Bouche: Risotto mit Meauxsenf, frittierten Kapern, gebratener Hauswurst und einem fliessenden Wachtelspiegelei. Erster Gang: marinerter Weisskabissalat, garniert mit Rollen vom Patanegraschwein, Dattelsauce, Datteln, ein Gelée von Portwein, Brösmeli von Brot und Speck und Salatspitzen in Champagnerdressing. Zweiter Gang: in Butter gebratene Langoustinos auf einer Blumenkohlcrème, Salicorne, Beurre blanc, Blinis und grünem und weissem Blumenkohl. Dritter Gang: aufgeschäumte Steinpilzcrèmesuppe, separat serviert gebratene Steinpilze, Steinpilzcrème, Steinpilzpulver und ein Sorbet von Tannenschösslingen vom Baum aus dem Garten. Vierter Gang: gebratene Poulardenbrust aus Gruyère, dreierlei von der Babykarotte, Ravioli von Schmorgemüsen und schwarzen Trüffeln und eine traumhafte Trüffelsauce Fünfter Gang: Friandises, die Rechnung und voller Freude auf den Heimweg. Als Weinbegleiter: Mont de Vaux, Morges 2010 von Henri Cruchon, Echichens und Barbera d'Alba superiore von Bruna Grimaldi, 2009. Ein Fest für alle Sinne, so stelle ich mir die Küche von 2012 vor, serviert von der Cheffin und nettem Personal, nach Lust und Laune auch vom Chef persönlich an den Tisch gebracht....

J'aime y manger le tartare coupé au couteau, l'assiette indienne, la selle de chevreuil durant la chasse. Pour ceux qui aiment ce qui n'est pas mon cas, il paraît que les pieds de porcs sont excellent!...

Comment (Salzhaus):Coincée entre bistrots et glaciers du bord de l'Aar, la terrasse du Salzhaus invite le promeneur du dimanche à faire halte par son élégance qui la distingue tout de suite de ses voisins. Le menu, original et appétissant, finit de convaincre les derniers sceptiques. Nous optons pour le menu du jour: verrine de velouté de chou-fleur, petite tomme de chèvre et brioche aux légumes, loup de mer grillé sur purée de pois chiches et fricassée d'asperges, millefeuille de rhubarbe et sorbet à la mélisse, le tout arrosé d'un excellent Riesling. Attentif, bilingue et arrangeant, le serveur accepte sans broncher nos régimes spécifiques en proposant une variante végétarienne au menu d'un côté et en s'enquérant de mes allergies de l'autre (dont la cuisine ne tiendra pas tout de suite compte, ce qui l'a par la suite beaucoup inquiété...). Les plats se sont révélés frais et délicieux, parfaits pour ce dimanche de printemps qui ressemblait beaucoup à l'été....

To be improved (Salzhaus):Malgré tout son empressement, le service était néanmoins assez lent et il nous a fallu plus de deux heures pour terminer notre repas, un petit peu stressant vu notre horaire de retour. Manger en terrasse serait un plaisir sans limite si l'on ne se retrouvait systématiquement à la merci des fumeurs......

Comment (Wirtschaft Utiger):Sehr positiv beeindruckt, da haben sie wirklich was schönes aufgebaut nach dem Brand. Der Eingang ist sehr gross und geräumig, wovon es in die verschiedenen Sälen abgeht. Der Empfang und auch die Bedienung sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Essen sehr fein und der Service sehr schnell. Die Auswahl auf der Tageskarte ist gross, wo jeder etwas findet. Einmal einen grünen Salat zur Vorspeise und die Kalbsleber mit Rösti zum Hauptgang und einmal Roastbeefteller mit Salat und Pommes waren sehr fein und zu empfehlen. Preislich absolut im Rahmen mit CHF 67.. (inkl. Kaffee)...
Comment (Wirtschaft Utiger):Freundlicher Empfang - Gutes Essen - korrekter Service. - So wie man sich ein MIttags Lunch vorstellt. Essen war sehr gut. s^Schöne Auswahl an Tagesmenü, da hat es für jeden etwas feines....
Comment (Wirtschaft Utiger):Freundlicher Empfang, wir erhielten auch ohne Reservation einen Tisch. Von der Tageskarte wählten wir einmal das Menu 1, welches ein Fleischspies mit Parmesanrisotto und Gemüse war und das Menu 2, welches aus einem Pouletbrust mit Kräutersauce, Pommes und einem Märitsalat bestand. Zum Menu 1 bestellte ich auch noch einen Salat. Der Salat war sehr fein, dies Sauce und auch die Nüsse mit dezentem Currygeschmack machte es speziell. Der Spiess war nichts besonderes, jedoch das Risotto um so besser. Das Pouletbrust und die Pommes waren gut. Siehe Bilder Der Service sehr freundlich, aufmerksam und schnell. So wie man es sich über Mittag wünscht. Beim Abräumen wurden wir sogleich gefragt, ob wir noch einen Kaffee wünschen, sehr aufmerksam und effizient. Preislich absolut in Ordnung....
Comment (Wirtschaft Utiger):Obwohl die Küche erst ab 18 Uhr öffnet, erhielten wir die Vorspeise vor 18 Uhr und den Hauptgang um 18:15 Uhr. Das Essen war sehr fein und auch die Bedienung freundlich wie immer. Zur Vorspeise gab es je einen grünen Salat. Wieder mit einer sehr feinen Salatasauce und garniert mit Nüssen. Zum Hauptgang wählten wir das Utigerschnitzel (Kalbsschnitzel überbacken mit Käse) mit Pommes und das Kalbswienerschnitzel mit Pommes. Das Fleisch war zart und fein. Die Pommes für meinen Geschmack ein bisschen latschig. siehe Bilder Der Preis 110.-- ist inkl. 3dl Wein....
Comment (Wirtschaft Utiger):Freundlicher Empfang, der uns auch gleich unseren Tisch zuwies. Während der weiteren Bedienung spürte man, dass die Bedienung im Stress ist. Zur Vorspeise gab es zweimal einen grünen Salat. Die Sauce war sehr, sehr fein, sodass ich nicht wiederstehen konnte, die restliche Sauce mit dem Brot sauberzumachen. Danach wählten wir die Spaghetti Carbonara. Zu Beginn fand ich fast ein bisschen zu fad, was sich jedoch mit der Zeit relativierte....

Comment (Stucki):Repas en mai 2009. Ca date un peu mais comme il n y aucune évaluation, je me permet de poster quand même. Le tataki de veau était excellent, sa chair était tendre, marinée au soja agrémentée de graines de sésames et d'une vinaigrette de pommes aux goûts plus doux que acidulé. Le ris de veau en tempura était délicieux, une pâte légère et croustillante, un riz de veau moelleux légèrement assaisonné qui se mariait très bien avec le tartare d'avocat très joliment présenté qui était très assaisonné, surtout en citron. Le foie gras était bon mais sans plus. Il était bien coloré, moelleux, un assaisonnement léger avec une garniture sucrée, un plat qui n'avait rien de particulier La soupe de crustacés était délicieuse, corsée, légèrement relevée avec une consistance liquide, accompagnée d'une boulette croustillante de crevette et d'un peu de farce, bien cuite, elle était tendre et lisse. La sandre avait l'air d'être délicieuse, glacée dans une sauce aux goûts proche du teriyaki, la chair m'a paru tendre et humide. Le chariot à fromage était grand, beau, un choix varié avec une trentaine de fromages. Nous avons opté pour du fourme d'Ambert, du munster, de lépoisse et du Pont-l'évêque. Un choix accompagné de pain aux noix, aux noisette et abricots et une sorte de "pain" 100% figues, ainsi que du cumin. Le dessert autour de la fraise était bon, c'était léger, un peu acidulé, pas trop sucré, avec des texture moelleux et croquante....
Comment (Stucki):Cuisine assez originale avec quelques petites touches asiatiques (nous avons opté pour le menu dégustation. Service de qualité. Bon conseil pour le choix des vins (et bonne carte !)....

Comment (Stucki):Tanja Grandits excelle d'originalite, un air de El Bulli flotte dans cete vieille demeure perche sur le Bruderholz...
To be improved (Stucki):La salade de fenouil n'avait rien de spécial, on y sens bien les différents goûts des produits mais ça n'avait rien de plus, tout étaient tièdes ou froids, c'était simplement bien présenté. Le filet de veau était malheureusement trop cuit, cuit à point alors demandé saignant rosé. Les morilles étaient excellentes, un goût corsé, bien assaisonnés, mais une était mal lavée car elle a bien croquée sous la dent et les asperges étaient croquantes. La crêpe farcie d'asperges n'avait rien de terrible, enroulée et imprégnée de sauce, elle est devenue très épaisse et consistante. J'ai bien aimé les tomates dattes, une chair ferme, peu acidulée et douce. Petite anectode : sur le chemin du retour, je remarque qu'ils ont omis de compter le fromage et les desserts, je leur écris donc un email disant de me communiquer leur coordonnée bancaire pour le rendre ce que je leur doit. Je reçois en réponse que je peux garder mon argent, qu'elle (tanja grandits) trouve dommage que je n'ai pas apprécié mon repas et que je suis malhonnête car j'ai pris des photos de ses plats, diffusé sur mon blog, sans lui en demander la permission, que se sont ses plats à elle. (elle a du suivre le lien de mon blog gourmand qui est en signature de mes mails.) pourtant, on avait demandé la permission à son serveur, que c'était pour mon blog, ils m'ont vu prendre des photos et mon appareil était sur la table. Enfin bref, une histoire qui me donne pas envie d'y retourner, pourtant j'avais beaucoup aimé la touche féminine dans les plats, cette touche florale, très simple, très jolie....

Comment (Büner):Each of us on iTaste has our own method for attributing ratings, but I must say that I, that have rarely given an 18 and consider 19 and 20 to be one in a thousand type restaurants or experiences, have chosen to give an 18 to this restaurant (as have the other two reviewers at the time of my writing this review) because it stood out in every way: charming decor, original menu (in every way), excellent service, delicious food, and a superb value for what we got. The restaurant is located in a residential area of Bern near the Expo centre, so not very central but well connected by public transport. There is an outdoor terrace for summer, but as it was bitterly cold and snowy today we paid little attention. Indoors, the welcome was immediate and warm. We were helped with our coats and seated right away noticing the interesting faces, a touch of Bohemia, lots of dark wood, beautiful pressed white linen, and small touches spelling CHARM in capital letters. I noticed the tables were set well apart and the owners had deliberately gone for less tables rather than more. There is a bar where I presume you can come and sip your favourite tinto or branco but we were intent on eating and our focus was elsewhere. The menu was brilliant: one page with five different main courses ranging in price from CHF 26 to 47 (including in this price a starter with each) so very reasonable and the food did not disappoint. The salad was fresh and well proportioned with an excellent salad dressing, light but savoury. The main courses were perfectly cooked and well presented. Our waiter was cheerful and professional: there when he was need absent when he was not. He forgot nothing and saw everything. But the cherry on the cake came with the dessert menu (where else). There among the five dishes was the phrase so many of us have always uttered at the dessert part of the dinner: "No dessert for me thank you." The only difference was this one had a price tag: CHF 22.50. In other words if you said "No dessert thank you" you were actually ordering a dessert at 22 Swiss Francs. Brilliant. At first we thought it was just a joke but it is actually an assortment of all the other desserts which is why it is also the most expensive dessert plate on the menu. Coffees were excellent and we left thinking this could be the type of restaurant you take all other restaurant owners to to show them how it is done. Reminded us a bit of the Cafe des Bains in Geneva. Highly recommended for any occasion but keep in mind it is a brasserie style restaurant with probably everything from workmen occasionally to the very chic. We were very casual and felt right at home....
Comment (Büner):Bien que Bern soit une grande ville, il n'y a pas beaucoup d'endroits comme celui-ci. Atmosphère très sympathique et lumineuse. Cuisine simple mais avec des produits frais et très bien cuisinés. Style brasserie moderne. Les plats entre 29.- et menu 3 plats à 69.- CHF à midi et jusqu’à 100.- le soir. Spécialement intéressant la vinothèque avec un très bel assortiment. Un peu décentré, donc facile à parquer....
Comment (Büner):Contexte: Souper en amoureux improvisé. En entrant, il n'y avait pas trop de monde, c'était assez calme, on avait l'impression d'entrer dans un salon privé... Pourtant, ambiance très à l'aise et sympathique. Il y a de l'espace entre les tables, c'est très agréable. Nous avons reçu un amuse bouche (poisson) très bon et avons pris une entrée : carpaccio de cerf (chf 20.50). je ne connaissais pas le cerf en carpaccio mais c'est vraiment à essayer!! mmh! En plat, nous avons pris une côtelette de veau(chf 49.50), vraiment goûteuse!!! et un filet de ferat sur risotto (chf 42.50) très très bon. Pour le dessert, nous avons opté pour "Non merci, pas de dessert" :) (jolie idée;) et bel arrangement (22.50 chf) Nous avons bu un vin Sauvignon blanc en apéritif, Schlössly, Bienne, (8chf/dl), très très bon!!! Un rouge, pour le plat (pinot noir, Martin Hubacher, Johanniterkeller, Twann, 56.50/bouteille) Comme c'est une vinothèque, il y a un grand choix de vins. Les sommelières ont été très gentilles et très professionnelles. Le lieu est chic mais simple, sobre et agréable!...
