You wouldn't expect it in this place, next to a busy transfer road between the A1 highway and the small city of Burgdorf. But it's really a place for gourmets with a modern french cuisine. It has received 17 Gault Millau points. We were invited by friends and very kindly expected and greeted by Mme Schürch in broad Bernese accent. While still choosing our meal we were served a nice little selection of amuse bouche. The raw langustino entry plate was decorated with little snails and some vegetables. The main course with coté of beef was served with fried potatoes with black olives and garlic potatoes as well as a creamy truffle puree. Delicious. The nice selection of cheese was very good again and we weren't able to take any more deserts afterwards. Nice friandises accompanied the strong espresso. As our friends took over the bill I can't give a price indication, but I understood that it is rather at the higher end of the scale.
