Costine...the real McCoy served with french fries.
As a starter we had a variety of bruschette: tomatoe, lardo & miele, funghi porcini... dangerously tasty...if you don't pay attention you end up eating too many of them.
Merlot Baiocco: excellent!
I only come here for the food... it's not an ugly place (at the contrary, it's quite pleasant, especially in the Summer time with its lovely terrace) but the Loverciano qualifies as a tourist trap to me.
Too many people, waiters are too stressed... it's mainly a feeling thing that makes me like the Loverciano a lot less than other typical places in Ticino (Grotto-Type, that is).
The desserts were nothing special...
