For the view alone, on a sunny day this restaurant would get a 19 and many friends consider it one of the best spots to take in the sun. Several levels of terrace provide room for dining (you can eat also inside on two floors) but when it is sunny the coolest are on the terrace (seated by Christophe the ever smiling and excellent maitre d'). The lower terrace level has deck chairs which sometimes come with a blanket if not ask for one but service at this level can be a little slow. It is great to stop in also in between meals for a drink and a piece of one of their delicious pies which are among the best in all Courchevel. make sure at lunch to go FIRST to look at the desserts and to have them reserve what you want as they are often finished and thus not available for those not in the know. Definitely worth trying is the tarte au framboise. Try to avoid sitting in upstairs if you can but it is not terrible and is good for large groups. Make sure you reserve to eat especially for the terrace. Food is god but not the best in the resort. Prices are correct but not cheap for Courchevel. Service is fast and very professional with many of the same waiters working year after year. One thing great about this pace is that children and non-skeirs can also reach it and there are a couple of easy slopes around so makes a good meeting point for people of all ages. Ask for their house salad with cheese and walnuts which is one of the best you can have in the resort and famous amongst those that love to come here.

Food goes cold quickly on the terrace and it can be a bit hectic in high season. Also teh food could be 20% better but overall great experience that remains a favourite and does not change.
