Together with my girlfriend we visited Enoteca Pinchiorri in Florence one week ago and it was a fantastic experience.
The new 20 "finger food" spring menu was absolutely amazing, every single dish was excellent, we wouldn't change any of the 20 dishes... The dishes I loved more were the pappardelle with honey (incredible taste), the octopus with olive oil ( so tender and soft insiede and so crunchy outside, really delicious) and the tuna cube (cooked to perfection).
The ambience and the rooms are very elegant and the service is excellent.
The wine list is huge and I think that their celler, if not the biggest, is one of the bigger in the world. Extraordinary! We visited the celler with the sommelier at the end of our meal and I have never seen something similar... Unique and fantastic!
The only negative aspect is the price of the wines (4-5 times the cost price).
It is an expensive restaurant (also the menu is above the average, especially if you eat "à la carte"), but I highly recommend it! Everyone should try the experience at least once in his life!
My only negative comment is the wine price list, far too expensive! The less expensive red wine was 125 € and the white 75 €. If you like to have a wine matching by the glass be prepared to spend at least 185 € per person... The wine prices are really crazy in my opinion.
