My sister and I invited our dad and his wife here for his birthday a. It was quite an experience! When we arrived we received a good service and were quite well received. We suggested to our dad to select the wine as we wanted to have something nice but without paying an outragouse price. He selected the A very nice Argentinian wine which I would recommend to all! However the food was a bit of a disappointment as it's not authentic Indian food. We were told that it's "fusion or nouvelle cuisine" food. Honestly that was a disappointment especially as you can get real Indian food around Geneva at 1/5 of the price and for a Michelin star restaurant, we were expecting much better! On top of that we asked the sommelier in a good humor why we didn't have the same nice glasses as the table behind (who were drinking an expensive Bottle of Bordeaux), already knowing the answer. Instead of giving us some lame excuse, the sommelier replied to us: "you took a cheap bottle of wine"! Honestly anything would have passed as we were having a very nice evening, however that really put a cold shower over the nice evening. Having told our waitress what happened, they tried to make up for it by offering us a glass of champagne each. This is a nice gesture but doesn't quite make up for it when you're paying chf 800 for the meal!

If you're looking for an authentic Indian restaurant, no need to come here. There are many good ones around, especially just around Geneva. I only hope for all thinking of going that you won't have the same arrogant sommelier that we had. Bedsides him the rest of the staff were very friendly, but overall disappointed.
