Although this restaurant is listed as being in Gingins, which, when you look at the map, is next to Nyon, do not be fooled. It is another 15km and a good 25 minutes drive up the hill to the summit of the Jura. You can see the white radar balls on top of the mountain which are not that far from where the restaurant is actually located.
A stunning spot, with absolutely top quality views, set in an area of lovely walks (although they can be a bit crowded on weekends and holidays). Come here with kids or to show visitors the magnificent views, but do not come here for the food. It is not that the food is terrible, it is not, but it is nothing to come all the way here for, let us put it that way. Besides fondue, you have salads, steak, and sausages. Nothing was really that good, even the fondue. But then again, nothing was so bad either to detract from a lovely day and wonderful scenery. The service is nothing to write home about and is really a bit all over the place, but you do eventually get served and do get the bill. Folkloric would be the best description.
Lots, but let us just say it will unlikely happen with the present management.
