Comment Beyond its location, along the route des Contes, the old path taken by travellers to reach Montbovon, Montreux, and Château d'Oex from Gruyère, with splendid views in an extraordinary setting, is the pleasure of this restaurant's unique hostess and its enchanting cadre. Nicole comes from Geneva and is about the friendliest person you can meet. You will not feel for a moment lost. Service is attentive and efficient. Food is good but more of the wholesome slow food variety than gourmet. We did not have wine so cannot comment. Excellent for walking to and from Montbovon train station (1.5 hours). There is a farm with all sorts of animals so great for children. You can also spend the night in one of her converted farmhouses. Setting and acceuil is easily worth a 15. Food is good and wholesome but not gourmet.

To be improved You must call to check when she is open as she is not always open. come here for a unique experience rather than a gourmet one but the food is wholesome and made with love. A bit expensive. CASH ONLY
