Pretentious overpriced "International Cuisine" in a soul-less hotel-dining room with bright lighting and bad decoration. Empty.... absolutely delicious, beautiful table settings, great wines. Virginie Gaumont at the door got us a table at the last minute and introduced us to Helene! Really adorable.... Exquisite service for this two star Michelin restaurant. I have been disappointed by the service in other London Michelin starred restaurants. Here the waiters were attentive without being intrusive. The (very expensive) wines which were suggested went perfectly with the dishes. Hilarioulsy my main dish was called "Bouef d'Angus" - I am not sure the Scots would appreciate this. The curried s...

The quality of the food is good and the service is attentive and friendly.... unnecessarily snotty wine service, too much food on the 'signature' menu...couldn't add cheese or dessert!... Too pricey, but then again, it is London. I would suggest sticking to the set menu, unless you are feeling rather flush.... ...
