Focus is on quality of food & customer satisfaction, and you feel it as soon as you cross the door. It's very affordable, and extremely fresh & tasty food. Very Etical, have a policy of not serving Tuna since long.
It's my favourite when hungry during shopping tour(s) or before & after musicals, for example. When it's cold outside it's nice to be welcomed with a warm green tea ! it's uncomplicated and soooo GOOD. My alternative to a sandwich in London.
They make delicious sushi and sashimi is incredible due to the freshness of their fish..... however I would strongly recommend you the "warm" dishes , I starve for the Bento Box with Porc. ... love the mixture of the crispy porc with the sweet mustard, the salmon sashimi with the sauce and the seaweed salad with sesam grains & the light japanese sauce ( 12£) ... I can't choose between the 2 sorts of Japanese noddles Soups and their possibilities - we all know Soba, isn't , maybe try the other one - and the boal of rice with fresh salmon slices on it & egg - which name I can never remember - are my absolute favourites. However I have to add their Japanese Curries are among the bests I ever tasted so far.
Between Leicester Square ( 2 min walk, around the corner) and Picadilly Circus ( 5-8 min walk), at the corner of Chinatown. Just walk in and wait to be seated, it's on 3 floors.
everything is japanese here, therefore please note: NO tips and tea is offered. Do not ask for green tea, it's very impolite, just wait, it will come to you, even twice - and don't force with tips, give it to charity, see at the cashier, on your right hand.
