Restaurants in touristic areas often tempted to lower the quality in tourist season's, but in Flavie's we had an excellent quality lunch. The exterior does not look special and the interior is more like an all day bistro but the quality of the dishes and wines was absolutely great and at a high level. Not easy to find a fish restaurant, kid & pet friendly but with excellent food & drinks. The red mullet fish was very tasty a a very good portion. Here you can still find an honest kitchen quality. when being in Nieuwpoort, Belgian coast a good spot for lunch and dinner. The wines are reasonably priced and they serve a lot of good wines per glas. We tried the Chardonnay Bogle and it was an excellent choice. The hosts now how to select decent priced good wines.

For a bistro this was just great, maybe add more choice of special starters. Outside terrace could use more caractere.
