When you go to Caffè Luis you have the impression that you're actually entering someone's house ... and that you're the guest of honour. The restaurant is located in a typical old Ticinese house. The courtyard is wonderful in the Summer. One of the dining areas is located in what once were the stables. At the entrance, next to the bar, there is usually a small crowd of locals who like to spend their time here. Caffè Luis has distinguished itself for its cuisine though. Very Italian both in quality and quantity. The waitress comes to your table and recites the menu for you. She does it in an almost theatrical way, very amusing. Beware of the appetizers: the portions are big, meaning that one would be enough for two "normal" eaters. It's nice that this is the waitress' own advice. And for the wine, ask her and she'll recommend the best bottle: one that will suprise you for the quality of the wine, in a fair price-range. Seseglio not being the center of the world, Caffè Luis is truly appreciated by the locals.

The place is very popular, meaning that it's fully booked most evenings between Thursday and Sunday. A reservation is a must. You have to find Seseglio to get here ... :-)
