Cutest place, you feel like you're at Adelaide's home... Service was very friendly. To our entire satisfaction the food was definitely Portuguese. I had also read some negative reviews on this place so I wasn't too sure: the reviewers were wrong (in my case).... If you are ever in Lisbon and want to taste the most authentic, traditional food (definitely not for the lighthearted) then this is your spot. I was taken here by Portuguese friends that wanted to have me tatse the best of what Lisbon can offer in terms of traditional cooking. This place is not easy to find and parking is not obvious (I would recommend to come by taxi). The setting is tiny, like a small shop front with 8 or 10 table...

I do agree: Portuguese food isn't LIGHT and does contain a lot of GARLIC :-) A bit on the expensive side...... This is traditional, informal cooking so not a gourmet setting but the flavours and food are to be tasted by any self-respecting gourmet that wants to understand the soul of a people through its food.... ...
