This is by far my favourite gastro-pub in London and I am told I am their furthest afield "local". Wonderful decoration and lovely staff. A connection with the South of France leads to fabulous dishes and wine. Tasted their new bloody mary made with horseradish infused vodka and "secret" herb mix. A success. Sadly we were unable to guess the secret mix and lost our chance of winning a bottle of champagne. This pub Anchor Steam! A hard beer to locate in London or in Europe generally. The owners and staff are exemplary. Personal and attentive service.

I hope it never changes. I wish they would open a pub in Switzerland.

Genuine local, excellent food, innovative bloody mary, cartographic decor.... what more could you want? And the bar staff always let you try new drinks!
