This is always one of my favourite restaurants when I visit London. The room and the ambience are very elegant and light, the service is excellent and the food is very good. Despite a lot of critics to this restaurant from a lot of people in the last 2 Years (in my opinion only because the owner is Gordon!) I think it deserves his 3 Michelin Stars because of the excellent french cuisine and because of the perfect service. My favourite dish is the "Sautéed foie gras with roasted veal sweetbreads, Cabernet Sauvignon vinegar and almond velouté", it is really fantastic, second only to the one at Dal Pescatore restaurant in Canneto sull'Oglio. I recommend it to everyone.
In my opinion there should be 2-3 tables less in the room and it would be really perfect! I know that we are in London and that the demand is very high, but the tables are too close and it can get really loud during the evening when everybody is talking...
Furthermore they could change the Menu a little bit more often (The Menu Prestige for example, though excellent, is the same since I've visited the restaurant for the first time in June 2009...).
