This restaurant exists since 1602: the ceilings aren't very high and it doens't look like it's very big but there is more place than one could think. The interior design is cosy and rustical, very swiss like. The exterior facade is very colourful and contains a replica of a medieval fresco, representing Brother Fritschi and his family (Brother Fritschi is a legendary person in Lucerne, associated with fun, festivity and carnival). The food is typically swiss, not really sophisticated but tastes very good. The first room contains a small bar.

The restaurant can be a bit crowded, but it belongs to the atmosphere of this kind of place...
