In this absolutely beautiful wine-growing region, north-west of Trento and lake Garda, sits this hotel, next to the main road, that we would otherwise have missed had we not stopped to ask where to find good food. For absolutely unheard of prices in Europe (for this quality of food) you will eat a tremendous meal, with excellent wines, cheeses from the region, grappa grown next door, excellent salads, and local produce and dishes such as deer, boar, and polenta. This is the area of the Ladino's who speak a dialect that is a mixture of Latin, Italian, and German. The service was very professional, the deserts exquisite and the experience one we would have to recommend to anyone. The road the hotel is on is particularly recommended for those looking for beautiful mountain scenery.
What was particularly enjoyable was to have the local forest guards having lunch at the table next to us confirming the restaurant as reasonably priced (or the guards as exceptionally well paid).
