The Cherwell Boathouse is an iconic Oxford punt station and restaurant on the banks of the river Cherwell, in an idyllic water meadow setting. Established in 1904 and still a family run, working Boathouse and restaurant with over 80 handmade punts in the water. The punting season is mid March to mid October open ten am till dusk. The well known local restaurant has a superlative wine list and is open all year round with an alfresco terrace on the decking in the summer. In season, the Teahut Bar and Cafe serves light food and drinks on a river terrace all day long. Private parties, events and corporate entertainment are available fully catered, to your needs from March to October in the Marquee overlooking the river.
