probably the best italian restaurant in austria! this osteria is an authentic southern italian resto run by the sweet and sympathetic bortone family (giuseppe cooks, teresa serves). the food is outstanding in all its traditional aspects such as freshness, taste, preparation and seasoning. the portions are quite generous, you get usually warned by teresa when the starter is too large for one person... no spaghetti bolognese, pizza margharita or any other tourist crap... just plain apulian cuisine in its perfection. very flexible service when it comes to ordering or asking for recommendations. best italian ever!

the coffee could be better. the decoration is quite frugal and almost chilly despite the warm and hearty atmosphere
