Eine Sehr gute Weinkarte, spezialisiert auf Frankreich/Italien/ Spanien und ein wenig Portugal Rotwein einige Raritäten aus der Schweiz Gute Tapas Häppchen, Konzept Gefällt mir gut, könnte noch optimiert werden

Leider sehr wenig Schweizerweine, vorallem Weissweine -Mehr Weinstuben Ambiente würde mir noch gefallen

Voher war der Barrique the Place to be - jetzt hat es leider ein bisschen nachgelassen. Die Weine sind immer noch sehr gut aber das Ganze braucht schon ein UPLIFITNG

I almost stumbled onto this place - I was looking for a restaurant in Zurich's Niederdorf and happened to peek into Barrique and spot the last vacant table. The guests who were already present and eating seemed to enjoy themselves...so I decided to have dinner here. Quite suprisingly the menu has both Mediterranean and Asian food. The red curry was simply stunning. I ordered it without being too convinced about it and was pleasantly suprised. The South African red wine was super duper.

I would avoid the house wine. True, it's more convenient but the waiters poured it out of those huge bottles...made me think of the cheap stuff you get in those sad places and Tavernello :-(
